What is Slow Strength?

Over the past few years, Slow Strength is a phrase we’ve found ourselves using more and more to describe what we do. From the beginning, we knew we weren’t going to make another macho metal free weight – not only because they’re not kind to our planet, but because they could never be objects made for everyday use.

Heavy snatches with rough iron bells bruised our wrists and pinched our fingers to the point that we couldn’t use them again the next day.

We were punishing our bodies with bad design and thoughtless routines in the hope that we’d gain strength, while disregarding the impact on our overall mobility and, more importantly, consistency.

While alternatives like Yoga introduced us to flexible, flowing movements, they lacked some of the rewarding “pump” and fatigue weights provided.

Slow Strength is our answer to this problem: combining yoga-inspired muscular meditation with tools that flow comfortably, move after move.

By keeping muscles under tension through deliberate, controlled movements, research shows Slow Strength increases muscular load, mobility and endurance while minimising risk of injury.

For this reason, Slow Strength is truly everyday strength: an approach that not only inspires you to move, but allows you to exert yourself day after day without painful injuries or long recovery cycles.

The result is a truly full-body workout designed around what matters most – human longevity, consistency and happiness – not mirror poses or weekly weigh-ins.
